Title: Brazen Plus?

Anybody know the difference between the original Brazen and the Brazen Plus?

I could not tell a difference at all other than the SCAA certification. I'm not sure that justifies a new name.  Maybe I am missing something.

Maybe they decided to rename it after they finally resolved all the issues the original was having.

Thanks all. Unfortunately, my second replacement Brazen has seem to have bit the dust with the same problem as the first -- solenoid failure (my diagnosis). Water doesn't drain all the way out (drains about 50%). And when I try the manual release option, it just sits there and hums without any draining. I run exclusively RO water and even tried descaling with no positive results.

Both have lasted about 1 year. What a bummer. I have filed with tech support but haven't heard anything (presumably due to Thanksgiving).

I had the exact same issues and I am on Brazen number three. Number three has held out so far but I have not reached the year mark yet.
