Title: BAD GENE CAFE
Post by: kelikana on September 27, 2008, 06:25:38 PM
Anyone had the bottom side guards fold in and obstucte the drum rotation on a Gene Cafe?
The board failed before and I sent It in, but if its and easy fix... I'll do it myself.

That is the way my first one arrived and they sent out a new one from Utah.  Not one bit of a hassle about it from the distributor.  He sent a new one out before receiving my old one back.

hey Kelikana that totally happened to my gene that I bought off a member on here. It is an easy fix. take the flimsy metal halfpipe out bend it to your gusto, replace , done. The gene roasts well after you learn from guru Boldjava, but build quality is rather Un-German....

It's all good now, Utah sent the side guards out, and also the small plastic gear for the motor that had cracked.  Roasting like a new madman!
