Title: Cuisinart Cornpopper/TO
Post by: milowebailey on February 01, 2009, 10:30:44 AM
Has anyone tried one of these instead of the stircrazy?  I'm wondering if the motor and stir assembly would be better for coffee.

Doesn't look like there's much difference between that & the Salton (http://www.amazon.com/Salton-Popcorn-Popper-%252d-PCST22Y/dp/B000QF9TGU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1233514153&sr=1-1) or West Bend (http://www.amazon.com/West-Bend-6-Quart-Popcorn-Popper/dp/B00004RC6R) poppers. The motor in these poppers are the limiting factor - too little power to stir much more than 12 - 16 ounces of green beans.

looks like maybe it is a little smaller and less of that outer lip that is out of the range of the stir rods... it may do a little better?!?!

may be like BWs hello kitty popper..(they must have been popular here, none on sale) good for samples....

I tried one once...the diameter was smaller then that of a SC and the outer lip is small.  It didn't work out for my use.
