Here are two links to reputable dealers who're selling used Bunn's;
ARCO Coffee - http://preview.tinyurl.com/o9nnct
SRE - http://preview.tinyurl.com/po5ovb

I believe the last iteration of this model, the Futurmat Milady, sold
new for ~$2700 in 1998? The Futurmat Milady was a Faema design, built
around an E61-type group. http://preview.tinyurl.com/ombwal

Robert ... those tinyrul links are going to tinyurl and not the intended sight.

Reputable maybe ... reasonable ... well ... hmm.  If you say that you haven't seen more than $150.00 in parts being needed then even if you spend $500.00 on one you are looking at $650.00 ... the cheapest one of those links was asking $1500.00.

But those are completely rebuilt & warranted machines. For all intent & purpose, as good as new machines for a lot less money. But no, I wouldn't pay those prices. BTW - ARCO had their ES-1A's on eBay for a long time, listed at ~$895 - does that mean they're charging ~$1500 for a warranty? And Dominic/SRE would probably take a lot less than $1500 if someone made a good faith offer.

Did you give him what he was asking or did you manage to knock off a few bucks?

I have been to SRE and talked with Dominic.  He is reasonable but knows his machines and what they are worth.  Tex is right, all the machine are refurbished and in excellent condition.  He has a lot of stuff.  There is a website and he list his collection of machines there.  I would have no problem buying from him.

BTW he is located in Arlington, Texas.  Now I just need to work a little bit more overtime and .....

(from Benbrook, Texas) >:D
