This craigslist ad showed up on my radar today:

I'm not sure it's within my budget, which is limited based on my account at the Bank of Behind The Sofa Cushions, but it sounded potentially tempting.

It's an older model, with no adjustable OPV unless the seller has modded it. Without the ability to tune the brewing pressure you might as well have a Saeco.

Tex, thank you once again for saving me from my ignoracne my igorantsy what I don't know about espresso machines  ;D

Which is considerable, as the feller said...

Is the short version (25 words or less, folks, step right up) -- get yourself a Gaggia? I mean ... should I keep looking at other possibilities or just wait for the unsuspecting person (who I just know is out there somewhere) who has an unwanted Classic in excellent condition and thinks the advice he or she got to let it go for "three-ninety-nine" meant $3.99  ... ... ... ?
