Sonofresco Roasters, New stuff coming 2014!

Sonofresco will be releasing 2 new items for their roasters January 2014!

1. Bluetooth roast controller kit.  (Finally custom roasting! And it's gonna be wireless.)
2. Stainless steel temp sensor. 

If anybody attended they were showing some stuff off at the 2013 Seattle Coffee Fest.
No idea on price yet. None the less I'll be getting both.

Obviously it will cost money.  I didn;t get to see this in front of me. I just heard about it from Sonofresco themselves.  Seeing as how it's bluetooth then it will most likely be all platforms.

I've seen green teeth, but can't say that I've ever seen a blue tooth, except on a smurf!

No but I think it's just a control board swap.  Unless the kit comes with a whole new ignition, MCU and thermocouple that would be a hell of a retrofit.  I think it will use the rapid on off of the in-shot burner to control the heat ramp.  I'm just guessing here.

I am not sure how I feel about the rapid on and off control. The temps drop very quickly when it cuts off.
If it controls fan speed, that might be a better way.
