Sad day today. My grinder leapt to it's death this morning. Why oh why?
On the plus side, I have a set of burrs at home. On the down side, the burrs are at home, and I am not. Looks like a tea morning tomorrow.

What were you grinding? Odd the burr would break. Was there a rock in you beans?

I apparently upset it somehow because it took a leap off the counter to the tile floor. I took my eyes off it for just a second and it jumped.
The Taz that I had this morning prior to the grinder suicide was wonderful though!

Wow never heard of a grinder jumping off the counter, maybe time for some Gorilla glue or epoxy. Must have been allot of virbation to cause that to happen. Good luck

I feel your pain, just the other week i was discussing with one of my coffee buds down here how I must be very lucky because I never got a rock yet.
Sure $#it very next morning I hear GRRRRr bwhirrrrrr and the sound of gears not quite meshing.... there goes my baratza. I could pull it apart but im in slug mode and am just using my super jolly. Next rock won't have a chance
