Bump, the white filters from wreckingball (and the disposable kantan pourover filters) are here.

I'm liking the 5 cup Kalita Style enough to buy you guys a fresh one for the roadshow. (this one stays with me!)
I've also got some packable tea-bags that are large enough for coffee doses on the way, was thinking about using them as a cupping aid.  If they show up in time I will be sure to include a few for each of the participants to try.

I also scored some of the disposable pourovers sweet marias shows on their website here:
http://www.sweetmarias.com/sweetmarias/coffee-brewers/filtercones/single-serve-brewer-filters.html
I will throw in enough that everyone can check one of these out too.

Still two spots open!  Sign up and we can get the show on the road!

I've never figured out who these are for? No one I know would travel with preground coffee, and if you're going to drag a grinder along how much room would a pour over cone & filters take? I had a prof who might've said, "This is a solution in search of a problem."

Well, admittedly they are pretty limited in use, but I like to stay within shouting distance of good coffee at all times.

A Kyocera hand grinder and a pack of these things would fit pretty easily in a laptop bag, (or even a coat pocket) most offices/hotels/relatives houses have hot water available.   I could also get a little parallel with a bunch of disposables, impress the natives, delegate, and not spend much time cleaning up afterward.

In the same situations a cone would likely add bulk and be fairly damp after use, and I think I would miss having a decent pouring kettle. A small french press wouldn't be very pretty given the grind capabilites of the Kyocera, and would add bulk/weight.  The mypressi raises too many eyebrows during transport and needs constant gas cartridge ammo and cleanup time.

They must not let you out a whole lot, Tex!  ;D

Bump.  Still need two more players.

To sweeten the pot, I will also include some GCBC themed herbal tea for you to try!

Final bump for the roadshow...

If we don't get enough people by the weekend, we will go to plan "B" - ship a pourover goody box around for everyone to review without buy-in or lottery, each participant just pays for shipping onto the next guy.

We could always just bump the price up a little bit to each participant to cover the cost.  A little bit higher investment is worth the better odds for me.

Down to one more spot open!

This might be just the thing for those who love pourovers, but have morning dexterity deficitâ„¢

Didn't mean to let this rest this long, I will figure out the order today.
We can still use one more.

I will also throw in this 5oz stainless phin dripper to round out the dripper kit.

Here comes the roadshow!

Sorry again for the delay, work and family interfering with my hobbies again!

Here is the breakdown:
Kalita Wave $70
100 white #185 wave filters $13 (!)
30 kantan drippers $10
10 sm other drippers $3
total $96

$9.60 each, I will PM the participants with the payment particulars.

I have also PM'd John F for a random number.  In accordance with ancient coffee toy roadshow protocols, the response was placed in a sealed vacpac, then put it in a freezer for good measure.   All will be revealed... soon!
