I'm starting this thread to track the 1971 butterfly black handle TTO (Twist To Open) Gillette Super Speed that Warrior started in motion amongst the wet shavers here.  This razor is described as mild and a good pick for someone just starting out in DE (double-edged razor) shaving.

Sign up if you want to get in on this and feel free to post comments, pictures here.

Traveling with the razor will be sample blades and other shave software starting with Bold|Java for you to try and pass along.  Feel free to add a few unused blades if the mood strikes.  This is turning into a real traveling shave den.

Pyment is adding some straight razors to the den to up the stakes!

I'd like to try this razor if you are still taking entrants.

If anyone likes it and isn't the winner. I have one I used for 2 weeks. It was brand new in the packaging prior.
$25 shipped.

...The plan is to send the razor along to the next interested party ad infinitum or until everyone loses interest and it stalls out at the last person on the list...

I will be loading it up with 4-packs of those razor blades that didn't float to the top for me. " Use a few, leave a few," I call it.  Pass it on, reload for the next gent.

Those aren't blades you used are they?

No, those would be 1-packs.

I never really tried one of these blades.  Ive seen my dad with them and my grandfather.   I honestly just splash some hot water on my face and drag the blade across it. I use the disposables.

I have assembled a "Mystery Goody Box."  Contents will remain a mystery until received at other end.  I figure, by the time it gets to the 10th gent, we will need a box 10x12x10 to ship it to the 11th guy.

Take a little, give a little.

I can't say that I hate shaving, nor can I really say I look forward to it either.  It's not really tedious or difficult I don't think... It's like brushing your teeth,  it's... just there, and something you have to do .... well unless you live in Texas then you  just take your tooth out and put it in a glass by the bed with a little clorox and you are good for another week or three.

well, if you ever want to get into pain.  there's always an epilady instead of a razor...

who ever the sick pervert is that thought of using a twisted spring to rip out hair by the roots instead of cutting it off.... never mind.
