Still not finished with the bar or the house, it has been a long summer but the remodel is getting close to done. Back splash and trim is all I have left on the bar and kitchen

Pretty granite( lousy picture).

Originally there was enough of the slab from the kitchen but it went for a breakfast bar.

All in all it has been great a learning experience some fun ( the demolition part )

More later back to painting  :D

Ray got a owie?

It seems impossible to photograph granite and make it look anywhere near as nice as it does in person.  Your coffee bar looks like Uba-Tuba, yes?

Looking good so far.

Giving me some ideas for eventually one of these lifetimes I might make one myself.

Beautiful marble there and great color choice for a coffee bar. If you get a spritz or two and forget to wipe no one will ever know...

PS: you should try to keep the bloodstains off it. :)

Slow but sure i am getting everything finished. The one inch glass tiles are called Honey Espresso with a almond grout. I am having hard time shooting decent pictures due to Glare.

If you cut a hole in the counter ask for a plug from the same material that you can glue in if you ever sell the house..
It will not look great but much better than just a empty hole :)
