You made a good decision. I bought a refurbished Preciso from Baratza that would not grind fine enough. I called them.  They sent me a brand Preciso with a return shipping label included for the refurb one. They won't do this on Craig's or EBay.

The more I hear about Baratza and their customer service, the more impressed I am.  Hopefully the grinder will be as good as their service, which I hope not to need.  I can't wait for it to get here....

I have two Virtuosos (one at home and one at the beach).  For the price they are great.

The Virtuoso/Preciso is here and now of course I have another question:

What do you prefer as a setting for a Hario V60/Buono Kettle pourover set up?
And what about for a mocca pot?

Any guidance as to where to start my search will be gladly accepted.

I go about 3/4 of the way to fine for everything.  On the Virtuoso the numbers go up to 40, and mine stays at 12.

My Perciso is set right now on 12G for a V60. I usually only adjust the small increment as per bean. Very rarely it will go down to high 11 or a low 13. Ninty percent of my beans for the V60 stay within the 12.

Two votes for 12.
I'm gonna try that....NOW.

Thanks guys.
Oh yeah, I'm guessing that 12G is the Preciso is the same as 12 on the Virtuoso???

Susan ... I'm glad to hear your liking your new Baratza.

I cannot say that I am surprised ... I knew you would!
