Just as I decided that there was no question that it was my very favorite pourover brewer.....
I broke it....

My condolences. I will refrain from pointing out that's why I always permit myself a backup or two. (or seven)

So far I have broken 3 Technivorm carafes at $50 bucks a pop, oh then there was that Vac pot I won in the Coffee kids auction that I broke while washing it to use the first time ::)  I Boo Hoooooooo alot  ;D

It's true;  dropping one into the sink (as I did the Chemex) might even work, but the thing is:  there are always more Mason jars to be had .....for free....breakage doesn't hurt so much....

Also I love it that you (I think it was you) turned me on to those wonderful plastic lids that fit the Masons.  So much easier for non-pressurized uses than the old two-part metal lids....and also cheap....

Three teenagers in the house and there are grownups doing kitchen chores?!? Maybe you have them chopping wood and mucking out the barn instead?  ;D
