For GCBC members who have HTRI** boards installed in their Hottop roasters, please have a look at this Homeroasters.org thread:
http://www.homeroasters.org/php/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=3971&pid=50075#post_50075It describes a very rarely occurring scenario where the roaster can shut itself down after pressing eject, and before the beans have a chance to be ejected and the roaster enter its cooling mode.
The conditions under which this can occur would not normally be encountered during any real roast, and (apparently) the majority of Hottop roasters are not susceptible to the problem even when conditions are artificially created to try and trigger the shutdown. Other details, including a path for upgrading the firmware on the HTRI boards, on Homeroasters.org.
