How does a sono roast?

It can, but you have 9 presets of light to dark and some people hack it and do their own thing. No me, the presets work good.
Can you profile much with it?

Can it roast one lb finished weight to the first few snaps of second crack in under 13min?
Roast yes, cooling no, it takes about 3-5 min to cool. The best part is that you don't have to stare at the roaster and hope that you know what you are doing. It's automated so you can fold laundry and stuff while your roast is going.
The price sounds ridiculously too good to be true. The one lb US is about $6k the SF much more.
Exactly, used sonofresco's are a good deal used. You have to figure about $150/year in maintenance. There is monthly cleaning that you must do and daily cleaning as well. But I have never needed a reason to bake my coffee in a sc/to
